The Movies - Various Media
LASERDISC
These three laserdiscs are from the Criterion Collection, and are the early versions containing the so-called "banned commentaries". In fact, the commentary interviews were conducted without the producers' approval, and contained comments that the producers felt did not show the fledgling franchise in the best light, but there was hardly anything that was highly critical. Nevertheless, the unsold copies were withdrawn from the market, making the surviving copies highly collectible and desirable to own.
VHS TAPES
It was such a treat when the Bond films were released on VHS tape. Finally, you could watch Agent 007 in the adventure that you wanted, when you wanted. It seemed like such an innovation at the time. Dr. No through A View To A Kill (excluding Never Say Never Again) are the "Classics Series" by MGM/UA, for each of the Bond actors. Also note the last two tapes - the Casino Royale movie is a deluxe edition from Spy Guise showing the 1954 "Climax!" version of Casino Royale with the missing endpart recovered and restored to the show, and 'The World of 007' is a television special.
DVDs
I probably have four or five DVD versions of most of the movies through the Roger Moore era, but what I show below is the latest and most complete compilation of a specific DVD set that I have. The step up in visual quality from the VHS tapes justified the acquisition of the same films in the new format. Plus, the DVD format allowed for the inclusion of extra material such as audio commentary by the director and actors, documentaries, and advertising material such as trailers and television and radio ads. Note the outlier, Never Say Never Again. Not controlled by EON/MGM at the time this set was made, that DVD is in the blu-ray format and not a part of this collection.
The James Bond Story is a made-for-TV documentary that is a re-telling of the history of the Bond novels and movies, and interviews with producers and actors. Bond Girls Are Forever is a documentary hosted by Maryam D'Abo and has interviews with several of the Bond girls. It is interesting to hear their thoughts on their roles, so many years after the movie was made.

Lastly, I have a fan-made DVD which contains a lot of material not easily found, including: 1) Harold Sakata on 'The Tonight Show' with Johnny Carson, in a Vicks 44 commercial, and screen tests, 2) deleted lines from You Only Live Twice, 3) Women of Bond featurettes, 4) Multiple Toymakers' toy 007 Attaché Case television commercial, 5) Desmond Llewelyn on 'The Today Show' with gadgets, and 6) 20/20 feature on Sean Connery.
Blu-Ray / 4K HD
The 'Bond 50' collection, in Blu ray, has great extras videos with each film. All the films in the 'Bond 50' collection have been remastered and restored, and feature DTS 5.1 surround sound. All of these videos are of such high quality that I know of several instances where prop makers have been able to detect details on props that were not possible on the regular DVD and earlier formats. And Craig's films never looked better than they do on the 4K Ultra HD DVDs - you appreciate the spectacular photography in Casino Royale and Skyfall.
